Here are answers to some questions you might have about PTC Accounting & Finance. We value your feedback. If you have any comments, suggestions or further further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

What can PTC Accounting & Finance do for me?
Once we have a good idea of your qualifications and experience, our recruiters will act as “match-makers” between you and our clients to create the best “fit” for both parties. We have some of the GTA’s most sought after employers as clients and since 1992 we have successfully placed thousands of people within these organizations.

What is the process I should expect from PTC?
Our process is simple and it all starts when you register online with us. Once you have registered, recruiters will begin to consider you for opportunities based on the information you have submitted. Be sure to enter all relevant experience online as our searches are based on the text in your resume as well as the information you have entered online.

At this point you may be asked to come in for an interview. Whether you have been interviewed or not you are still welcome to apply for opportunities online. If you are short-listed for a position a recruiter will contact you to discuss it with you in more detail.

Recruiters at PTC Accounting & Finance are always on the lookout for top talent to fill our current roles. Therefore, you may be contacted for a specific position regardless of whether you have applied for it.

Can I register with other agencies if I am registered with PTC Accounting & Finance?
Of course you can! It doesn’t make any sense to put all of your eggs in one basket. See what other agencies are able to offer in terms of employment positions. The more your name is out there, the greater your chances are of securing a position.

What do you look for in a qualified candidate?
PTC Accounting & Finance specializes in accounting and finance related positions only. Therefore, we are always looking for talented professionals with a strong accounting and finance background. If you are in or have been associated with a domestic or internationally recognized accounting and finance association, we encourage you to apply!

Why do contract work?
We believe in building long term relationships with our Candidates and it’s these relationships that have kept our Candidates coming back over the years. Some other reasons why our people have felt they benefited from contract work are: you get paid for every hour you work; it provides opportunities for various industry exposure; and, you have the chance to diversify your portfolio by gaining knowledge and experience through performing different specialties.

How do I apply for a position?
Easy! Once you register with PTC Accounting & Finance online, you may view all current contracts and click “apply” at the end of the job description you are interested in. Then follow the next screen to send the recruiter an e-mail. If your skills and the requirements of the contract match, a recruiter may choose to call you and discuss the position further.
